Lost Tribe Sound I rarely throw the word genius around, but Bastardgeist is there, if not approaching. His music contains my perfect set of ingredients, large formed beats, a heavy dose of cultural influences ranging from Latin to African, and some beautifully layered vocals used in moderation. Reminds me of so much, yet remains completely unique, drawing upon aspects I love from groups like Mice Parade, Yeasayers, Hu Vibrational, and a dash of Crosby, S,N, & Y in the harmonies. Brilliant! Favorite track: Altars.
